Just got music selection from Mario today. His track "Boonies" will be the opening song for Act 1 for Episode 103.

Episode 103 is 75% complete. Music is the only left to add. 103 will also feature music from fellow PKLA member Mario.

Episode 104 and 105 are in the Stringout phase.

24p Pasadena

I was testing my Kodak Zi8 720 60p features this Saturday at the Meetup in Pasadena. I put together a quick cut. I like the look and I plan to put together a choreograph video in the near future. I used Final Cut Pro and Cinema Tools on this video.

Day 2 of Copyright issues

Day 2 of frustration with Youtube and WMG. I can't use House of Pain's "jump" so I have to find another alternative. It's making it difficult to use most of my music choices. Plus I won't know until it's(video) fully uploaded that there is a copyright issue. Which takes about 6-8hrs depending on the size of my HD video. This is slowing me down but not taking me out. I'll keep trying.

102: Copyright issues

It looks like I'll have to re-edit 102 with a new song and re-upload. I'll get the "youtube WMG copyright" thing down. It's pain when you find a good song and can't use it, but that's show business folks.

Pasadena

I shot broll of Pasadena last week. This should help Episode 102. Just wish I had a camera with zoom. I could have gotten some better shots. Pocket cameras can only do so much.

The PKLA Channel is moving...

...across the street. Because Youtube is tied to your google email account and for some crazy reason Google won't allow you to change that, I created google account specifically for PKLA. I will leave the old site up for little while. Once Episode 102 and 103 are published. I will close down the other site to "public access".

Episode 101: Oct 31, Downtown LA, is 98% complete. There are some interviews that I want and possibly some broll changes. But I'm looking to upload it Sun/Mon.

Episode 102: Nov 07, Downtown Pasadena, is in the Stringout stage (Stringouts are rough versions of how the episode will look.) I'm at 75% Stringout stage.

Episode 103: Nov 21, Santa Monica, is in 10% Stringout stage as of me blogging.
